What else to know about all-inclusive family resorts in the Caribbean
Know what’s included (and what’s not)
Before booking any of the top-rated all-inclusive resorts on this list or any other, Lori and I strongly recommend that travelers read the fineprint to get a clear understanding of what is included in the nightly rate (and what is not).
Be mindful of minimum stay requirements
Also, family-friendly all-inclusive Caribbean resorts may require a minimum number of nights to book (three nights is common). So…if the resort you’re interested in says its full online, make sure you’ve entered a stay of three or more nights just to make sure it’s not a matter of meeting the minimum.
All-inclusives can be an excellent value
The upfront costs of family-friendly Caribbean all-inclusive resorts can run you much more per night than a non-all-inclusive hotel. But they can also be a better deal in the long run if you play your cards right, as paying for meals, drinks, and activities on their own can really add up.
